Obamas Healthcare plan Hurting the Elderly

Yesterday, I came home from school, and my mom told me that my grandma was out into the hospital. She was put in admittance after her appointment with the doctor, but she is not well enough to live at home, so she was admitted. She needs a certain medicine that makes her blood not clot too much, and without it, she would die. She use to go to the pharmacy, and have medicare pay for it since she was old enough for medicare to kick in, and now, since healthcare reform limits certain medications to be given, she has to pay 200 dollars for a weeks worht of medication. Thats only 7 days.. The pills need to be taken every day. For a whole year of medication, it will run her 10,400 dollars. That is rediculous. She cant put all of her social security check twords this, What are your opinions on the healthcare for the elderly? Here is a paragraph from the LA times:

Im terribly sorry nels.. yeah agreed I am not for this new healthcare plan at all. Its affecting my great grandparents, and grandparents as well.

I think Obama is hurting this country. Cutting military costs, totally reforming healthcare, which basically hurts a whole new level of people. He is a socialistic nero minded person.

dude, like nothing's happened yet. it's the current crap that's going on, not obamas. my mom had a injury two years ago to her collar bone, which she broke at age one, and STILL hasn't been able to go to the doctor. and it sucks to see her crying and in pain. we need obama care NOW

so basically your saying that its more important for you mom to see a doctor than for Nelson's grandma to get the medication she needs to LIVE. yeah im sorry shes in pain but because of Obama care the elderly are going to die. please tell me how this is morally right.

im terribly sorry Nelson. i hope there is some way for her to still get this medication.
