For close to 90 years a U.S. President hasn't been to the island of Cuba, but this Sunday that will change as President Obama is scheduled to land in Cuba this afternoon. Obama is there for a three day visit which he plans to occupy with a meeting with President Raul Castro, speak with anti-government activists and got to a baseball game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cuba's National Teams.
Along with president Obama on this trip are his family, other members of congress, and business CEO's. The Cuban people are very welcoming to the president and are hoping that this event will push Cuba and the United States even closer. Cubans are wanting to be able to travel to America and have trade between the two countries.
What do you think the outcome of all this will be? How do you think our relationship with Cuba will be?
What kind of business opportunities do you think this will open up for both countries?

Good job Patrick!
I hope the outcome of this visit in Cuba will lead to better terms between the United States and Cuba. I think that after the visit with Cuba it will open up trade and traveling opportunities for both countries.
I would assume a lot of Cuban are looking forward to visiting the U.S. The trade will benefit our economy greatly.
It could possibly lead to a good outcome- transportation and trade between Cuba and the US. People might even be able to travel to Cuba, and they could make money off tourism.
Yes definitely! If Cuba could get a big tourist attraction it could greatly benefit their economy with the number of Americans who may travel there.
I hope we build a better relationship with them because I think it would be fun to go visit their someday. I think it will help with trade and tourism.
I think that maybe something will happen and they will be able to travel here till something happens. I think that maybe it will be good and yet can see it bad! Just being able to travel more.
With our history I'm bet everyone in the ranks is being careful with their moves making sure Cuba doesn't stab us in the back.
Hopefully the outcome is a positive one. This "meeting" could have positive outcomes such as more trade for the U.S and Cuba. In the long run this could good for both countries. But we still need to be careful.
We always have to careful with any country because we can't get to close or it will make us vulnerable. But I believe this will be a good one.
