While the debate on whether videogames cause violent shootings continues on, the NRA released a videogame for the iPad, iPod Touch and Iphone recently called NRA: Practice Range.
Some people are calling it bad timing while others think is simply outrageous and disgusting after what happened in Connecticut.

This game is not bad. Sure it may be bad timing, but it's not outrageous. A game that does target practice and skeet shooting is harmless games don't kill people, people kill people. What about all the other games that involve guns that were out already no one is calling those outrageous. So I will say not a bad game but perhaps bad timing.
I don't think people should make such a big deal about this game. Many people play worse games than just shooting targets. It's just bad timing. The game is also a lot different from tapping a screen to aim and shoot vs. actually using a gun.
It sounds like this game just had some seriously bad timing. I'm not sure why people are freaking out so much considering the fact that the game doesn't have a single living thing anywhere in site. It's literally an electronic practice range that you control with a touch screen. Now I see how the game could seem a little morbid if you just lost a son or daughter to a shooter, but like I said, it's just bad timing. I'm not sure how much damage the cheap game can actually cause.
I think it is bad timing. I mean they were probably already making it before the shooting even happened.
Its about target practice, not shooting people. People need to lighten up. I'm not saying what happened in Connecticut is okay. No, it is horrible, but I'm saying you don't need to freak put every time the word gun comes up.
You don't shoot anyone in this game you just shoot targets. In what way is that sick? So what if there was a shooting? What if someone came into a school with a knife and stabbed a bunch of people? would it be sick to come out with a knife app?
