North Korea says it successfully tested an engine for an ICBM missile. ICBM stands for intercontinental ballistic missile. The U.S. has thousands of these types of missiles and they are used for launching a nuclear warhead from one continent into space and then around the Earth and down to another. North Korea says that this breakthrough will "guarantee" and eventual nuclear strike on America. The U.S. has strongly urged North Korea to "refrain from actions and rhetoric that further destabilize the region."
My personal thoughts are that I still don't get why a tiny country like that which is so poor and isolated would continue to do stuff like this which will only result in more hardships for its people. Plus I don't know why they think they have to have nukes, because if they ever decide to use them, they have to know they will get wiped out.
What actions do you think the world should take to prevent North Korea from getting a nuclear missile that can hit the U.S. if any?
If they get such a missile, do you think North Korea might be crazy enough to use one if they were in a war?

From previous events, North Korea has not actually done what they said they planned on doing and has made false threats to the U.S many times. If they were i a war they might I don't know what they will do
From previous events, North Korea has not actually done what they said they planned on doing and has made false threats. I don't think North Korea would put that sort of missile to use if they were in a war. North Korea should be smart enough to know not to use a nuclear missile that could hit us.
The only thing we really can do is promote peace and let North Korea know that if they don't cooperate, there will be drastic consequences for their country and the people in it.
If they were in a war, absolutely. But out of nowhere? Who knows. North Korea makes a lot of statements about things they're going to do to the western world, but have never actually carried out any of their threats.
I don't think they would attack us because than we would have to attack them, then that would lead into bigger things like another war. Yes I believe they would use the nuke on us if we went to war, they built it for a reason
I doubt they would try to strike us with missiles, because if they did that we would have them destroyed by the time they would have fired another one. I don't think that they are that stupid to use one on us.
I don't anyone would do anything because once we attack them there allies would attack us then it would lead to World War 3, and yes I do believe they would use this nuke if they were in war.
Well they are a isolated country so we can't do a whole lot of things to stop them. But I don't think that there is a way to stop North Korea from making nuclear weapons.
I think it's a bad idea for North Korea to threaten us like that, because if they are just only testing engines and we have thousands, it doesn't look like it would end well for them. I think the world and United Nations should take steps quickly to stop them before they actual shoot a nuclear missile at us. I think if they did use one on use, we would hit them back hard.
I don't really think there is anyway to keep them from making nukes and if they were in war I believe that they would threaten to use them in war but I don't really think they would do it.
