North Korea Preparing Long-Range Missile Test

In Moscow, Russia, lawmakers have noticed some suspicious things happening in North Korea lately. There were some lawmakers that got together a few weeks ago and decided to go see what North Korea was doing. The group of men or the RIA went to North Korea on October 2 and plan to stay there until the 6th. After gathering information, on what Russia thinks North Korea is going to do, they have concluded that they believe North Korea is in the process of building a long-range missile that could possibly end up on the west coast of the United States.

Some of the RIA agents have quoted this, "They are preparing for new tests of a long-range missile. They even gave us mathematical calculations that they believe prove that their missile can hit the west coast of the United States." RIA agents have also said that North Korea plans on launching the long-range missiles in the nearby future and plan to hit America sooner than later.

Questions:

1) If North Korea would to launch the missiles, do you think President Trump would act on it and do you think the missile would actually hit America? Explain reasoning?

2) If you were the RIA agents would you or would you not mention something not only to your country but to the world, and why?

  • Very well done! Be sure to make comments three different days next time.

  • I believe that he would act upon it. And I do believe that it would hit America. North Korea would most likely only attack us when they were advanced enough to hit us. If I were an RIA agent I would inform everyone I could what was happening. It would be wrong to keep this information from the people.

  • According to what the RIA said and with the evidence that they show, I would say it could happen or maybe not, since I have heard many rumors but it still does not happen anything, and i think that the president Trump would prevent that this happen or he could  answer the same way or worse.

if I were an agent of the RIA I would tell the country what happens, but everything were at risk, and everything would be chaos that would not be a good idea.

  • I think if North Korea would launch the missiles, Donald trump would wait until the last possible second. I think once we really need to respond, he will respond to the missiles. I think that the missile could hit America because they have been planning and calculating about the trajectory for a long time. If I was an RIA Agent I would let my country know right away about any information that I might know. I would let the government know, not the people.

  • I think if it comes close to the coast he will act on it but while its still a long ways off from hitting or causing any problems that hes going to wait. I say this because one day there going to figure out how to send a missile and so why have a long drown out war instead of just crushing them right away.

I would tell people, you knew going over there that you were going to have to tell your country this and since we are close with Russia they wanted to just give us a heads up.

    • Yes I totally like your thinking with stopping the war right now instead of creating a bigger deal with the missiles and stuff.

  • I think he'll act on it right away. I'm not sure if it'll hit the United States. I would get the information out there, because it is useful to everyone.

  • yes and no because knowing trump he acts on anything and north korea is a huge topic as of now i dont think that it would because they went from just going over japan to trying to get to us yes because then the whole world would be against north korea

  • To be honest, I think Trump would act on it because if the missiles would actually reach the US, I assume that Trump would take it as a threat in a way, and I honestly don't think that the missiles would actually hit the US at all just given the fact that it's the first test to actually set it's course for this long of distance.  I would because that would mean North Korea would mean that they could be a threat to many more countries rather than just the United States.

    • Thank you for using my map :) but I just wonder why and how they come up with the calculations one how to see how far a missile can go
