Duke loses to Carolina on Sunday, but the thing is instead of their arch-rival being the team to win. It was South Carolina that beat Duke since the court they played on wasn't in Greensboro, NC but in Greenville, SC. The reason being that NC has the HB2 a law that requires people to use the bathroom of their biological sex, so the NCAA moved the game to SC. Not only did this affect them holding NCAA tournaments it also made them not able to hold the NBA all-star game in February. There are people in North Carolina that are trying to get rid of HB2 and to make more LGBT protection laws.

Do you support the decision to revoke the HB2 law if so please go in depth for you opinion?

How do you feel about Duke Loosing in the NCAA tournament and if you filled out a bracket did it affect you greatly?

My opinion:

I agree with revoking the law since it doesn't matter what bathroom you use as long as you use the one you feel like it won't be weird, and what I mean by that is no going into the opposite sex bathroom unless you feel that you are of the opposite as is the case with transgenders.

Honestly I could care less about the loss but for those who had duke winning most of the bracket I feel bad since they are now really out of the running for winning. Almost.

  • The HB2 laws doesn't seem to affect me especially since these laws are in North Carolina. Duke losing so soon screwed me over I had them in the final 4.

    • I can see where you are coming from about the law and I'm sure most people actually look at it like that. Well so much for the bracket all you can do is hope that your other predictions come true and you get as much points as possible.
