A married couple was sent a letter in the mail from city hall saying a complaint had been made about their 4-year old son. The complaint was that he was too noisy and if another complaint was sent in they would be fined 5,000 dollars and another 500 dollars a day if the noise doesn't stop. I find this to be ridiculous! He is a 4-year old for goodness sake! That's what they do, they are loud and roudy and have energy. What are you thoughts on this? Was it right for city hall to take the complaint seriously? Or should the little boy be way more quiet?

That is totally not right at all.. who ever was there neighbor must be a crab and old person because incase no one has realized the youth of this day has so much energy and have to get rid of all of it... i think the family should fight the fines because thats not right for fining them because their 4 year old son is loud... that is odd.
This is ridiculous! I think it is a little excessive to go to city hall! What is so wrong with confronting the parents of the child before going and fining them several thousand dollars?! I think is completely immoral and ridiculous.
I think they dont have a right to get involved. They might ask the kids parents to quiet him, but fining them?? Four years old, maybe the city hall people should have kids, so they can fine them for having noisy children.
i think that the city hall needs to go talk to the boy and his parents about it before they start fining him! he is only 4 years old! i don't think that they should be aloud to do that.
