Noah's Ark is Now a Motion Picture

Yes, the biblical story of Noah and the Ark and the 2 of each animal and all of that is being made into a movie, and Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) is in the directing chair. He says he's been hoping that a studio or two would produce a version of the story for almost 3 decades, and since it hasn't happened and he's hot right now in Hollywood (coming off a Best Director nomination for Black Swan), it's a good bet he'll make it the way he wants it. Paramount has picked up the deal and it will start pre-production sometime in the next few months, hoping for a release date around summer 2013.

    Sounds good but I hope he'll make it along the lines of the Bible,...just not boring! I hate boring bible movies!

    I'm really surprised someone hasn't made a movie about it yet! I'm sure it'll be pretty cool though!

    I think it's very good idea to make a movie about this. I think it would be very well liked and many people would go to see it!

    I think that that is pretty cool that they are making a movie about Noah and the Ark. Why has it taken so long for someone to make a movie about it?

    If they bash this one they're gonna have some very angry people against it. Like me. I hope it's a good one.
