Nightmare On Elm Street Remake Opinions?

I know there is already a discussion about this movie, but How many of you have seen the movie already? What did you think of it? Compaired to The original how is it?

 

I saw it, and I really liked it! There was an annoying person there who kept yelling at the jumpy moments, but you knew they were coming so yeah... Its a lot better than the first one, better effects, scarier, explains it better.

 

So, opinions on the movie?

it was not scarier than the first one but i will agree it did explain it better and did have better effects

it was pretty good...it could have been a little scarier...i dint see the first one so i cant really compare the two but yeah....why cant freddy and jason just die!!!!....just like at the end of friday the 13th when jason killed that chick when he came from under the bridge and then in a nightmare on elm street freddy stabs the chicks eyes out through the mirror!!!...i saw it in the city and personally i think scary movies are more scary in the city because the surround sound is a lot better and it feels like you are in the movie!!!

its reeealllly jumpy!! i havent seen the first one but i thought this one was really good ... im going to go see it again on friday.
