Good news for football fans everywhere, the referee lockout has ended. This comes after weeks of controversial calls and angry fans. The regular refs will return to the field Thursday night. The referees went on strike before the pre-season began. The refs will now recieve a pay raise and an improved pension program. I'm glad they are getting the professionals back, people have been complaining too much! I am also glad they got their payraise, because the NFL makes so much money. I'm sure they can afford it.
About time the other refs took too long to call things, as well as not being confident about anything they were saying. They also missed a lot of calls.
this is good beacuse the replacement sucked they didnt call anything and when they did call something it was really stupid
I'm so happy! I love football and I think our football season will turn out better now that this dispute is over. I do, though, feel bad for the replacement refs. They weren't as trained as the originals and deserve a bit of slack with all of the pressure put on them.
I like watching football, but i don't get that into it. But I am glad to hear that the refs are back because heard the replacement refs weren't doing so good! So maybe it shows that we do need to normal refs
HOORAY!!! I want to watch the first game tomorrow with the refs in. The end of the game with the Packers and Falcons was the worst of the worst.
I think that the calls should be better but I think fans will still be rather harsh on all calls that are made pentalizing the team they are cheering for. It is also good to know that they are recieveing more money. (not the sarcasm in that statement) Over all I think that it is good they are back.
