1. If you were a quaterback and lost a game due to a laser pointer would you be upset

I would be very upset and hope that they would launch a investigation into it and try to change it so it wont happen again.

2. What do you think they can do to insure that this wont happen again?

I think that they could do better Security searches and look harder for places they could hide one.

  • Well done overall. I do think your first question could be stronger.

  • Yes, because someone would have caused me to lose.  They need to increase security to watch for lasers.

  • I would be outraged if I lost a huge game like that to a laser pointer. I agree, I think next time the security searches should be improved while not invading someones personal belongings.

  • I would be very upset if I was a quarterback and I lost a very imortant game due to a laser pointer because it was probably done by a fan or someone else. it might not have been a big deal to them, but it would be my career and for the game leading to the super to be lost because of a fan/bystander making bad choices is ridiculous.

  • I would be very upset because I would've lost the game due to someone not even on the field. I would be extra mad because the laser pointer would've stopped me from getting to the superbowl. I think checking people when they come into the stadium could help the NFL stop laser pointers and stop whistles from being taken into the stadium.

  • I think anyone would be upset, it's a rare opportunity to be able to play in the championship game, much less to make it to the Super Bowl. Whatever solution the NFL comes up with they will not be able to please everyone, but something like more indepth searches could insure it doesn't happen again.

  • I would definetly be upset and I would hope that someone looks into finding whoever did that. I think they could either use more cameras or hire more security to look over the crowd to make sure nobody ever does this again. They could also make sure to search people for things like this before they come into the stadium.

  • I would be very mad if I lost a game because of a distraction like a laser pointer, but Tom Brady has 5 Super Bowl rings so he has probably had things like this happen to him before. I don't know what they could do to stop this, since laser pointers are small and can be easily hidden.

  • I would be mildly upset, but at the end of the day it's just not cool. The manpower required to analyze enough data and evidence to put together who was shining the laser wouldn't be worth the money and time, when they could be investigating other more serious crimes. I think they could make sure people who have paid for their entry should have wristbands saying their items were checked to make sure nothing distracting/harmful made its way into the stadium and secondly to make sure that the people who sneak in are identifiable.

    • I could easliy understand that the police could be working on more important things than a laser pointer being shined but I think that it would be important to the nfl to find the person and make sure they dont come back and mess up another important game.
