The state of New York has recently passed a law where mothers have the option to terminate their pregnancy during the third trimester. This has received a lot of media attention. Most have agreed that it is murder and the regulations need to be changed. In New York Times written by Ross Douthat says that Democrats support it. In 1952, New York's Assembly and Senate voted to repeal (take away) the two year old abortion law. The only thing preventing this was veto of the Republican governor, Nelson Rockefeller, who did not want it. This almost successful repeal was not an isolated case. Today it is still a problem all around the world that will never go away.
What are your thoughts on this issue?
It's not right to take away a baby's life before you've even tried to raise him/her.

No, even though it's a most common issue for teens they have people to help. You can go to treatment centers and go through the process of adoption. During that process the foster parents pay for everything. You're giving the child a new and better life. You're giving them a chance to be something.

I think the government should stop giving money to organizations that provide abortion services, and give money to support adoption. I think abortion should only be allowed in extreme circumstances.
I don't think it should be an option because when women terminate their pregnancy, they terminate the baby's life. No that would be worse. It would keep population level from rising, but I just don't think this is the right way to go with it.
I don't think it is right to take away a babies life. Even if you can't take care of it, the baby should be able to grow up and choose what he or she wants to do with there life. I don't think it should be legal everywhere; not anywhere for that manner.
I think that late abortion is not right because by then the baby can feel pain and it's not smart to take an innocent life away before the parents even tried to raise them. No because I think that there are better ways to deal with an "unwanted child". You could give the child up for adoption and make another family incredibly happy.
I think that in the third trimester it is in no way humane to terminate a pregnancy. There are plenty of ways to prevent pregnancy and even when those fails there is plan B and other was before the child is a fully developed person. I can see in some cases where they may have been in a bad situation and were forced to, but if not I don't think it's acceptable. I don't think it should be legal at all.
I agree with you, people need to get a different perspective of this situation. Some people don't want to be reminded of who the father is, but you can just give the baby up for adoption. So, him/her can have a wonderful, full life.
I think its wrong to take a babys life I think if a mother dosent want her kid then she should give birth to it and then just give it up for adoption dont kill it.
No I dont I dont think it should be legal anywhere its not legal to go and kill a man on the streets thats murder so I dont think it should be legal to kill your own child Like I said if you dont want to take the responibility for it then give birth to it and give it to a better home to a family that actually cares
I do not think that you should be able to do that is murder no matter when you do it the baby could have cured cancer or landed on mars but the child will never get ot live because the mother never gave them a chance. It should not be legallized everywhere I don't even think abortion should be legal.
1. I don't think it is right to rip a precious life away and just ruin their chance at a good life. Even if you aren't ready you should at least give that baby person a life.
2. I DO NOT THINK that this should be legal everywhere I don't think it is right to remove anyone or anything of life.
