There is a new West Nile Virus going around at the moment. Fox News states," Three males and one female were infected, officials said. A male in his 40s, one in his 60s, and one in his 80s were all exposed to the virus in Middlesex County. The fourth case was reported in a female under the age of 19. She was exposed in Bristol County." The West Nile Virus is only spread to Massachusetts as of now, but it could very well spread to othere places around the States.
There is a very small chance that if this virus spreads to Iowa that people would get it, there is a 1 in 5 chance anyone will get this virus that is a small chance. A lot of people have also overlooked the West Nile Virus because of the Corona Virus that is going around right now.I personally think that this New West Nile Virus will not come all the way to Iowa I think that it would be rare if someone were to contract the virus

I think 2020 is just trying to throw more things at us everyday. If it becomes severe it would make it even worse for people already affected by the coronavirus pandemic. I don't think it is as big of a deal as the coronavirus because the coronavirus jsut appreared out of nowhere and spread quickly in a very short period of time.
I think that the virus could be not as severe becuase we already have a lot of safety precautions becuase of covid. I don't think the new virus is as big of a deal as the corona virus yet because it is not well known but it could become more severe.
I agree that this virus would be severe because of all the precautions that are going on right now becuase of the Corona Virus that is going around right now. I agree with you that this virus is not well known there are very few cases and that is why, and Covid has the spotlight at the moment.
With so much going on with Covid-19, I myself and I think many others hadn't even heard about this. I think that right now if it isn't heard about and isn't brought up to be a big deal then it won't be. I don't think that the New West Nile Virus is as big of deal as the Corona Virus.
I haven't heard about the new outbreak of the West Nile Virus but it dosent sound like it is very common right now. I also dont think the spread will reach Iowa but if it does it sounds like there wont be very many cases. I feel that with all the precations we are taking because on Covid-19 it will aslo slow the spread of this virus.
The article is the first ive heard of the virus so it probably isnt that big of a deal at the moment but it could very well become a big deal. I haven't heard of the West NIle Virus until now, but that didn't disregard its signifcance. If the people who have been exposed to this virus were treated and contained properly, it may not be as big of a deal as covid-19, considering only a few people gpt exposed. However, everyone said the same thing about Covid-19 when it first started making news, so who knows.
I dont know if it will make it to Iowa, but i definitely wont be surprised if it does.. I remember in the beginning of covid no one thought it would make it here, then a short while later schools were closed and the whole state pretty much shut down. Because of the fact weve been dealing with covid and practicing all the safety procautions i dont think this will get as bad per say. Who knows though cause there are still people who just dont care about themselves or anyone else they could possibly get sick.
I dont know if this viurs will make its way to iowa as well but I agree with you I wouldnt be suprised either. I also agree with you that nobody thought covid would make it here but now it is and school got closed adn a whole bunch of other stuff got closed as well.
