in tijuana mexico authorities plan to build a migrant shelter to hold at least 3000 imigrants. This is a great idea. The living conditions for the immigrants now is horrible. They are holding at least 5000 in a sports areana which is triple its capacity. Human rights groups have said that their living conditions are to poor and can cause dieses. Latley it has been very heated with the caravan. A couple weeks ago their was tear gas thrown at the people who were jsut trying to start a new life.
How would you help these people out? I would start a fundraiser and donate to charites. I would also try to get more people to help and spread the word
How do you feel on the way they are treated? i feel like they should be treated fairly, they are just trying to run and start over because their life back then was bad. They made a long journey just to come and get tear gas thrown at them and horrible living conditions

I think best way to help these people would be to donate money to them and support them while they attempt to find a job and a good home to began their new lives. I think they deserve to be treated like anyone else. They have went though a lot in order to create a better life for themselves.
I think that the way to help these people is to try and help them find jobs, and find good homes that they can start their own lives. I think that they should be treated like people, but they also need to remember that there are expectations that you must live up to. But it is great that they are able to get away from the violence.
One opportunity would be to donate money and send it to them to support them and you could also try to get other people's attention so they would help them too and maybe this much attention would stop the 'attacks' against these people.
In my opinion there should be more people helping them instead of hating them and making their lifes harder than they already are. They are also just humans and deserve a fair and good treatment.
I would plan to build more shelter like the one they are talking about building. I would also build them in many different areas so many people can come to them. I feel like they should be treated like other people because most of them are just looking for a new life.
Training people to handle these situations can realy change the outcome of an event pr problem. They are not being treated like humans, but more so as animals. Locking them in and forcing them into close quarters is horrible.
I think that these people are just trying to start a new life. What I would do is rise money for them. I would tell the community about what is happening. I feel like these migrants are going to spread disease in these small shelters so that is a down fall to the shelters.

2. I would feel like an intruder if I were to come into someones home uninvited.
I would encourage them to become legal in the U.S before entering into the U.S and they wouldn't have to deal with all of this stuff. The U.S can't just let this many immigrants without them being documented. We can not just change our laws for people who aren't actually U.S citizens. I feel they might be treated badly, but they are tearing down U.S borders in San Ysidro and throwing rocks. The media doesn't actually show us what they are doing to us. People in America complain that they don't have a job and that there aren't jobs to work at. If we just let these immigrants in they will take our jobs. Plus they'd all be undocumented and they could be smuggling stuff through which isn't good.
I don't think that I would help these people out because they are trying to come in Illegally. I think that the tear gas was needed. These people were trying to get through the fence, and they were destroying property.
