I think the signature needs cleaned up a little, but I don't quite see an issue with change. After all change can be good sometimes, it keeps pushing us forward.
It wouldn't really seem like a big deal to me if his signature didn't look so goofy. It looks like a little kid just tried to draw something on a dollar bill. It just looks kind of dumb. Maybe he could put a little more effort into his signature? It just looks bad and I would be embarrassed to put that on our currency.
I think that it shouldn't change because then our money would not all match and some people might try to say that one style is worth less then the other.
