A lot of people these days are using the Keurig 1 cup systems of something similar. Keurig announced a new model, the Keurig 2.0, that will change the way many people use their coffee pot. The main difference is that the new machine will have a camera that will read the top of the K-Cup and only make coffee if you have a licensed cup. This means that the cup has to be made by Keurig, or you aren't going to have any coffee.
Do you think that Keurig should restrict making coffee like this?
A lot of people do not use their brand, and I think that this will hurt their business.

I don't think that they should narrow there production down to using a specific cup. Overall, people, in my mind at least, aren't that attached to something just because of the brand. I think Keurig thinks that they have very loyal consumers, and that they can narrow their marketing, and it won't matter, but people can just go to a gas station, or buy a new coffee maker and get rid of that one if they're figuring out this new trait after they had already purchased it.
A different company made a empty cup that you can but tea bags or coffee grounds into and you can put it in your Keurig and it would make that so you can still have your favorite coffee. I wonder if those would work.
I think this will hurt their business greatly. If businesses were to get one of these for their office spaces they would have to buy a lot of those cups. How much do the cups cost?
I think this will hurt their business too. I happen to actually sell more of the off brand where I work rather than the name brand. It will probably hurt them more than help them.
I think if they make them buy that kind of cup that people wont buy the machine anymore. I think it will lower their business.
That is just crazy. That is a company just trying to be more greedy.
I HEART KEURIG!!!! But idk if I like this!! I love my Keurig, but I get my k cups for much cheaper and just as yummy from the hy vee brand. I don't really like this one, but I love my keurig!

that is dumb, It will probably hurt their business. I would not buy one of the new models if they were going to do that.
