This new helmet rule is the NFL's attempt to make the game safer for both the offense and the defense, but concessions will always be apart of the game. Even if it is dangerous, big hits is what the game is known for. There is a new rule for a fifteen yard penalty if any player lowers his head to hit with his helmet. The rule applies to not only tacklers but also linemen and ball carries. Because of the rule, there is a wide spread chaos across the league.
What is your opinion on the new rule?
Do you think 15 yards is too much?

Overall, your summary is very brief and does not inlcude your personal thoughts/opinions. Also, please ask how to hyperlink correctly next time aso the messy url doesn't show up. I also think you could have replied more frequently.
I've seen some theories that say that football was and would be safer without helmets and pads, because people would be so much more careful about hurting themselves and others. Whereas, if you're all padded up and protected, you're allowed to get away with a lot more things that still do harm to your body.
i think the rule should be applied even tho some people football players dont listen to the rule but it could benefit on the concusions. The concusions could be lowered in football. I honestly do think 15 yards is a little much.
I think that this could be good for the NFL, but only if it is called in the right situations. Since the new rule was made, there have been multiple tackles during the preseason where flags have been thrown unecissarily. If it is called correctly, I don't think 15 yards is too much because that what a personal foul is also.
I like watchig football for the skill but not so much the big hits. Safty is proably the one thing that should not be inored in football. I don't think 15 yards is to much, it should be more like 20 yards.
I do see your thinking on that but lots of people dont like the constant flags and now people are saying that some flags should not have been thrown and people are getting really worked up about it but safety does need to be taken more serious and the people watching the game dont know what its like to be out there.
I think the rule is smart. I love watching football but I agree with the strict rules. They know they shouldn't do it so if they do they should be pentalized 15 yards. I think 15 yards is okay amount.
i think that this is a good rule but its still not gonna take away all concessions when people get hit there still going to happen but hopefuly not as often i think that the yardagee should depend on how hard they are hit if there is a way measure that.
I agree with that and that is a good idea because latley there has been lots of flags thrown that other people dont agree with and if the fans keep getting upset about this, this could turn into a bad thing for the NFL.
I personally like the rule because it makes the sport more safe but yet not really that much. I think that 15 is not to much, I think it should be a bit further or be fined a lot if they cause a injury etc., becuase the injury could maybe sometimes effect the rest of their life.
