The Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA (National Basketball Association)has fired their head coach David Blatt. It has been reported that LeBron James and other players were not given a say in the decision. Cavaliers assistant coach Tyronn Lue (a former player) will take over the Head Coaching spot for the remainder of the season and was given a 3-year contract with the job. David Blatt spent his early coaching years in Europe until being hired by Cleveland last season taking the team (carried by LeBron James) to a 6 game series in the finals and lost to the high powered Golden State Warriors. There are also reports that players didn't always agree with David Blatt too.
I think that it was a very bad decision to cut ties with David Blatt and go with his assistant coach Tyronn Lue. David Blatt had a extremely successful season last year going to the NBA Finals.

Better job of replying here!
I think the Cavs already sucked before firing there coach. They may do better next season. MIami Heat baby!
LeBron James left your team, that stinks. The Cavs are 31(wins) -12 (losses) as of a overall record so far this season. Their NBA finals opponent the Golden State Warriors have a 41 (wins) - 4 (losses) on the year. Both teams have the highest rank in their conference.
Yes I definitely agree with you. He was very successful in his first year as an NBA head coach. The head coach of the Warriors Steve Kerr was on his first year as a head coach and that seemed to work for the Warriors. He was a former player and played with the greatest of all time Michael Jordan.
I don't follow the NBA, but I can understand why people would be upset in this situation. People can complain all they want about who they think should stay on the coaching staff but there's a reason why we're just the fans and not part of the 'big shots' that make those decisions.
I think it would have been i little bit better to keep david blatt considering there good previous year. But personally i dont think it will make a big difference on the outcome of there overall record. Thunder is my favorite team
It may or may not change the outcome of the season I do agree with that. But David Blatt helped get the Cavs to the finals against the Warriors. The decision was mainly based on team chemistry.
I don't follow sports that much, but I don't see a reason for the firing of the coach. I haven't seen a reason for them to fire them. I don't know how they will do with a new coach, you just never know. I don't have a favorite team because I don't follow basketball.
It wasn't a good move because if you led your team to the NBA finals, you got to be doing something right. I don't have a say on promoting Tyronn Lue because they just promoted him and we don't know how he will manage his team. I'm sure they will have a successful season considering the fact that they went to the finals last year. I don't have a favorite team.
