Larry Leadfoot has new competition in the driving industry. Ford is on there way to a autonomous car. An autonomous car is a car that has no driver, and is able to drive itself. Although the autonomous car maybe a little far away, there is something that is coming up fast. Ford is in the making of a speed obeying car. This car takes pictures of signs and controls the torque of the motor. Although this can be overridden by pressing firmly on the accelerator, it could still help in making the accident rate go down.

I do but then I don't because the car could either do a really efficient job at what it's programmed to do, but then again it could tweak and possibly harm you or others. I believe it could be anywhere from 2030-2050, because it is a fairly good quantity of time away, but since technology is improving so vastly nowadays, it's hard to tell what could be created the next year let a lone day.
It could be but what if people want to go slower than the actual speed. Also your gonna need to slow down at some point because of other people driving, It will probably be awhile before this comes out I wouldn't know around when but I like my car so i think ill keep it.
I think its a bad thing because if it is driving itself and a deer crosses the road and you forget to adjust the speed of the car with the brakes then it will hit the deer and still keep going until it causes more damage.
I don't want a car that controls how fast I'm going, I would feel like I'm always late to getting to places, and what if theres and emergency and I need to speed to get somewhere.
Personally, I don't really want a car that abides to the exact speed limit because I'd feel like it would take so much longer just to get to places. Plus, would this car allow us to even pass other cars that were going under the speed limit? I hope they don't show up on the streets.
I think it could be a good idea to do so, but I feel like people wouldn't be to happy with this feature if they drive fast. I don't know if people would really look into this feature. It would just depend on who the person is.
I think it could be a good thing, as long as you dont set it at a high speed. I dont think i would get one of these cars though.

I think that is bad. What if you really need to get going and I just think that is not a good idea at all and that would make more accidents them you would have going your own speed. I think they will be out when they are done. I don't really care. I wouldn't get one.
