In recent news astronomers have found an alien planet that may able to support life. The new planet is called super earth and is located about 42 light years away. They are still not sure if it is a bigger version of earth or just a Neptune without a solid surface. It is 56 million miles away from its star, in the future it may also be able to be seen in direct contact of telescopes.

I think that this is a whole new chance of opportunities for resources and environmental studies, it could also be a new step into the last frontier.

What are your views on this?

It is great that they found this planet, but it is so far away that we would not be able to get there.

It's pretty amazing to think about, I mean in the long run, their could be another planet that can carry life. Who knows what will happen in the future now that we know about this.

This is sweet that this planet might be really similar to our planet. Hopefully they find out more about it.

I think it's incredible that they can do research on things that are so far away and find out so much information about it. Technology is amazing these days!

This is soo cool! I always wished there would be life on another planet someday! I hope they do more research and find out for sure! This is so exciting!!!

I think that is really cool! Especially being able to have life on it, that's truely amazing. I mean, i guess if i ever had problems down here just go there! HAHA!

I have always thought astronomy and that sort of thing was really cool so its always cool when astronomers make new discovers of planets! It's pretty cool how often they are finding new things and makes you think that there could be so much out there that we don't know about.
