Chinese scientists claim to have found fossils of a dinosaur with bat like wings. The dinosaur was very small only being 63 centimeters long and weighing no more than 230 grams. It was believed to have lived for a short period of time 130 million years ago during the Jurassic period. It is named Yi qi which translates to 'strange wing' in English, and is one of the first dinosaurs to show some capability of flight and might help bridge the gap between dinosaurs and modern day birds.

Yes I do, considering how old it is, I assume there is some correlation. I don't know what I would name it.
Yeah I think that there would be a connection from dinosaurs to birds. I'd have no clue what to name this dinosaur/bird.
Of course I think there could be a connection to this dinosaur and the birds today. That's how evolution works. I would leave the naming up to someone with more expertise in this area of study.
There is a similarity between this dinosaur and modern day birds. The talons and the beak look exactly like a birds. I have no clue what I would name it.
I don't know if that is a dinosaur but that is interesting. Could just be a new creature but I don't know. They could defiantly be a relation between them though.

I think that there will be a connection to modern day birds considering the size of this dinosaur compared to the large ones in the past that don't look for have really anything in common with modern day birds. I don't really know what I would name the bird, bird seems fitting enough!
Well I think that the modern day birds that we have today could have easily evolved from these flying dinos long ago. Throughout history we have found that modern day animals have evolved from dino species so it is very possible these birds evolved. I would probably name it Yi qi.
Yes, how else would things be able to fly today? If I had discovered this bird I would have named it winged bird!
