new $100

In recent news the government has decided to release the new 100 dollar bill on Oct. 8th.  It was originally planned to be released in 2010 but there was a problem in the printing.  As of last year the $100 bill was the most popular in the world with a total of 820 million in circulation.  The reason for the problems with the printing was that it was made extremely hard to counterfeit.

I personally can’t wait for the new $100 bill.

    Well whats going to be different about it?? And it was suppose to be released that long ago but they still havent?! Well i wonder what its going to look like though...

    It doesn't surprise me that the 100 dollar bill was the most popular. I mean.... I would be thrilled to have one! It's pretty cool that there will be a new design.

    I didnt know the 100 dollar bill is the most popular. I would think it is the 1 dollar bill! and I dont use 100 dollar bills often so I wouldnt know a change if I saw one!

    I think it's always cool to change things up so we aren't seeing and using the same bill everytime. It was really a surprise to me at first to hear that this was the most popular bill, but when I thought about it, I'm sure when top buisnesses and employers use the bigger dollar bills like the 100 in order to pay people by cash maybe?

    I think that is pretty cool that they are making a new bill so it is harder to counterfeit. I just wonder what it would look like because I imagine it's hard to counterfeit as is.

    I wonder what it looks like.  I heard that the signature is going to be different at the bottom.  My dad works at a bank, so I heard it would be changing soon.  It suprises me that it is the most popular bill.  I would think the $1 would be, since we use it the most often.  I don't understand how it was a problem that it was hard to counterfeit.  That is a good thing.
