Scott Raymond Dozier, 48, declared that he wanted to die two years ago, but his execution was called off twice. On Saturday, he was found unresponsive in his cell. His execution was scheduled twice, but called off due to court fights over the three-drug combination Nevada was going to use. The drug included the powerful opiod fentanyl. Drug companies didn't want their products associated with execution. Last month, lawyers revealed that Dozier had tried several times to kill himself in the past months. On Saturday we was found dead from an apparent hanging.
1. Could the State of Nevada found a compromise to avoid this situation?
I believe the State of Nevado could have avoided this situation by figuring out a different way to execute Scott Dozier. They could have used a different drug that was more common.
2. Should Nevada have respected Dozier's wishes and continued with the execution?
I think that Scott Dozier should have had the opportunity to pass away how he wanted to. Nevada could have found another way to continue with the execution.

Well done overall. I do think your summary could be longer and also be sure to capitalize key words in your title. Be sure to hyperlink correctly as well.
I believe that they could have easily found something else to do. They should have let him pick his fate. If they were already thinking about it, they could have easily gone through with it.
I think that they should have done this process earlier, because two years is a long time to wait and thats what made him kill himself. I agree with jandy he should get to choose the way he wanted to die and if he wanted to die two years ago then grant his wish.
I agree, this situation should have been handled two years ago and solved. Since they waited it resulted in him killing himself. I think that State of Nevada could have bettered the situtation and found another way to fulfill his wishes.
I definetly think they could have avided the situation by finding another drug to use instead of the fentanyl. Ithink that they sould have respected Dozier's wishes and continued with the execution if he said it was ok to use the fentanyl, if he didn't want them to use fentanyl then they could have used a different drug instead.
They could've avoided the situation if they had found some other way to follow through with the execution. There are other ways to do it, and they didn't need to be so persistent with a drug that companies didn't want them to use. Nevada should have respected Dozier's wishes because if that's what he wants, then why wouldn't they give it to him?
1.) I believe if the State of Nevada would of kept a better eye on him and used a more common drug they could of avoided the situation. I also think they waited to long. If he wanted to die then they shouldn't of waited two years, which in the end lead to him killing himself
2.) Yes, they should of respected his wishes. If he declared two year ago that he wanted to die then something should of been done about it sooner.
I agree, they should have kept a better eye on him or offered him some type of help. They could have used a common drug that they have used before to fulfill his wishes. The situtation should have been solved before he took his own life.
I think that it was right of them because if they couldn't find another way they would've had many people upset with the execution and how they went about it but I do think that because of the past times that he tried to kill himself they should've kept a watchful eye on him. I do think they should've found a way quicker than they did.
I agree that they could have found a different solution to avoid this situation. The facility knew that he wanted to die and has tried before so they could have kept a closer eye on him. They could have found a more peaceful way for him to die.
