NBA player and Brooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie has ideas to create his own fully functional Iron Man suit. This project and dream has estimates of costing $100 million. Dinwiddie first told the world about his idea on the HoopsHype Podcast, and laid out his full plan. He still has a way to be able to afford it. His estimated career earnings through this season with the NBA will be $6.3 million while his upcoming 3 year contract is worth $34.4 million. This is still only 40% of the way to his dream without factoring in other expenses. Dinwiddie says he is still very comitted to one day flying around in his very own Iron Man suit, and belives he can get a loan from the Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr., whose net worth is around $300 million.
1. If you had the money would you consider designing your very own Iron Man suit?
2. Do you think Dinwiddie's suit will be able to actully fly?

Good job overall. Be sure to include personal thoughts within your story.
if i had the money i would try to make the entire collections of suits that tony stark has made. i doubt that they actually get a suit to work becasue they dont have the electromagnet that tony stark has in his chest that powers the suit
If I had lots of money laying around and was able to do this, I would. It would be so cool to be able to do something like that. I think that as technology advances the suit may be able to do something similar to flying.
If I had the money to design my very own Iron Man suit, I probably would not actually design one. Although it would be very fun to design and create, I think that spending that much money on this is a waste. I think it would very cool in Dinwiddie's suit would actually be able to fly, but I doubt that he will actually get it to a point where he is actually flying.
I probably wouldn't because I think that it would be a waste of money. I think that in a few years with the advancing technology he may be able to create a suit that is fully functional and works as it does in the movies.
1) No, i think this is defiently a waste of money.
2)I think if he takes the time and effort to really out the money into it anything is possible.
I wouldn't make my own Iron Man suit because I think it's a waste of money even if I had a lot. If I had money I'd want to have fun with it, but just because $100 million may seem like pocket change, it's still way more than other people have and its a lot of money that I would have worked hard for so I couldn't justify dropping it on that. I wouldn't want to work for years having my one goal be the Iron Man suit because it might be cool at first but eventually the novelty would wear off, it'd break, or I could get too preoccupied with it.
I do think that one day people would be able to create a functioning Iron Man suit and it'd be cool for them to create one of the firsts like it. I think we're still a while away from that and it could be dangerous, but with the right determination Dinwiddie will get his flying suit.
If I had the money and time to build my very own Iron Man suit I totally would. That would be so much fun if we hod all the technology need to make a full, functioning one. I don't think that it will able to fly just yet, I think that it will need a lot of work and power to make it fly.
If I had the money I would totally make one! Imagine me going to the store to get groceries in a ironman suit. I don't think in this point in time it would be able to fly, he needs some serious horse power to get the metal and him up off the ground to fly.
