In Edneyville, North Carolina a plane caught on fire when it was landing in Henderson County. The fire chief said that it started when the pilot tried to land but he clipped a tree and also the power lines. The pilot was coming in too fast and he knew he wasn't going to be able to stop, so when he went to get back into the air, he clipped a tree. Kimberly Hodge said another neighbor helped rescue him after hearing the boom. Once the neighbor got to him, the plane fell to the ground and he pushed open the door and made it to a mailbox.
Questions:
Would you consider Kimberly and the other neighbor a hero? Why or why not?

1) I consider them heroes because they could've died while trying to help the man.
2) If I witnessed the plane crash I would rush to help or get help.

I would consider these people heroes. They helped these people knowing that it could be a risk for their own lives. If I was a witness of the crash I would call the police to tell them what just happened, and if they needed me to do anything. I would then go and check on the passengers and try to help them.
I am sure that they are heroes. I at least would consider them as heroes. They risked their own life to save someone else's life and that is very brave and generous. I think would have tried to help to if I had witnessed a plane crash like that. First I would have called 9-1-1 and then I would have checked if everyone is fine and I would have done my best to help the ones that needed help.
