Bo Pelini was fired on Sunday. Athletic director Shawn Eichorst said in a statement released Sunday "Earlier this morning, I informed coach Bo Pelini of out decision to move forward in a new direction." "Coach Pelini served our University admirably for seven years and led our football program's transition to the Big Ten Conference. We wish Coach Pelini and his wonderful family all the best and thank him for his dedicated service to the University." Harvey Perlman said he supported the decision and wished Pelini well.

Do you think Bo Pelini should have been fired? Why or Why not?

Well done Morgan!
Yes, i think that getting a new coach will give Nebraska another chance at being a good team.
I do not think that Pelini should have not been fired. He was a very successful coach, as he had 9 wins his last seasons. I don't think it was necessary.
yes because he wasnt a very good coach and he has never won a big 12 championship. He never seemed happy and they about got beat by iowa.
Yes because he wasn't a very good coach and treated people and the fans badly.
Yes he should because Nebraska needs someone new out there.
No, they paid him all that money anyway. He still gets paid and doesn't have to work for it .
It was the universities decision to fire him. It didn't seem like he did anything wrong so I don't see why they fired him now. Nebraska must have just been tired of him as coach and wanted someone new.
I meant $150,000 a month for 51 months
I don't like the Huskers, but with him leaving it's not like Nebraska could get any worse.
