Atlanta Hawks controlling owner Bruce Levenson is selling the team after self-reporting himself for an email to the NBA regarding the diversity of Hawks fans. THe email was sent in 2012. He said that he "trivialized our fans by making cliched assumptions about their interests (i.e. hip hop vs. country, white vs. black cheerleaders, etc.) and by stereotyping their perceptions of one another (i.e. that white fans might be afraid of our black fans). By focusing on race, I also sent the unintentional and hurtful message that our white fans are more valuable than our black fans."
Levenson says there is no room for racism in the NBA and he apologized to the team and the fans. Do you think he is selling the team because he was ashamed? Or do you think he had other reasons, like others finding out and making it worse for him?

I think he was trying to avoid another Donald Sterling mess. I also think he has a hidden agenda and wants to see the club. While seeming like he is doing the right thing.
I think he had other reasons. He is probably a bad guy and it just trying to justify himself in other ways.
I think he came forward because he didn't want someone else to come forward and have another Donald Sterling incident.
I think that he was trying to sell the team because he said something a little racist, and somebody just bought a team for 2 billion, so he can get a lot of money and if he didn't say anything now then someone will eventually say something then it will turn out like Donald Sterling.
See Josh i don't think you make any money being an owner of a Professional Basketball Team so he was probaly not making any money so that is why he sold the team.
He is going to start off fresh with a new career and make some $

I think he sold the team because he didn't want to get into as much stuff court wise like Donald Sterling did. This isn't as bad as what Donald Sterling did but still racist.
i think that he was ashamed and there could be more to the story because there had to be a bigger reason to sell the team
I think he was ashamed but, he also did it because he didn't want to get in too much of trouble.
