  • "If it's requested, it's made," Klaschka said. "I don't want to be pulled into this because I'm a confectioner and there's nothing more to it." AMEN
  • This seems to kinda be just like not letting that little kid named Hitler get their name on a cake... They should just get over it.
  • they were trying to please the customer, come on.
  • I think that they are over-reacting...As a business owner you have to make the customer happy and if the customer wants a nazi cake well then they are going to get it.
  • its what the cake represents tho
  • alright it's not a big deal.  if someone had requested it, that's one thing.  but if the shop owner did it of his own accord, well then according to law he could be prosecuted.  but it's not that big of a deal.
  • yeah i dont really see what the big deal is? it tastes the same thats all that matters. who cares if it looks different from all the other little cakes and pastries out there?
  • This is weird. Just because you make a cake that looks like that doesn't really mean anything. Plus the bakery was just doing what the customer wanted them to do.
  • well if it's not such a big deal about the design, what's the big deal about changing it to something else? the holocaust was a horriffic thing that happened and anything that could be referancing it like it's cool or something shouldn't be allowed.
  • they were just making what was ordered, not like its a pastry shop full of nazis. and if it was for awareness it makes even less sense that they would get in trouble
