I remember watching this video last year. To answer a few questions, former President Bush was reading to a group of student in Florida, when he got word of the first attack. Since he didn't want to scare anyone, he remained calm and continued reading, but when the second plane hit, he knew he had to do something. He gave a speech at that school then. The Secret Service wouldn't allow him to return, because they weren't sure of where the planes were going to hit next. Luckily for him, the passengers of Flight 93 risked their lives and caused the plane to crash in the field. You have to wonder if they knew that it was headed for the White House area. President Bush wanted to go back to the White House, because he didn't want to give bin Laden the satisfaction of "scaring the president". That night though, they had many Secret Service planes etc around the grounds in case of another attack.
