President Trump has raised the budget of NASA to restart the lunar explorations. Trump has raised the budget 1.6 billion dollars to the 21 billion dollars request. 2019 is the 50th aniversery of the Apollo 11 mission that put the first man on the moon. They plan to return to the moon as early as 2024. The missions are planned to be named Artemis, after Apollo"s twin sister. It also plans to carry the next man and first woman to the surface of the moon. The rocket taking the passengers to the moon is being produced by Boeing called the Space Launch System (SLS). It was supposed to be done in 2017. NASA has spent nearly 11.9 billion on the rocket. Many other companies like Blue Origin and SpaceX are also trying to make it to the moon by 2024

I think it will be good to return to the moon and explore the unknown.

I think that NASA will make it first becasue they have already gone to the moon many time and have had sucess with the programs.

I think it is good that the United States is planning to go to the moon, since it has been decades since we have been there last. I think NASA will get there first, because NASA has the experience and research, and has been to the moon before, unlike SpaceX and Blue Origins.
It will be 52 years since the man has walked on the moon if the launch is on time. Nasa is more experienced and has more research to reach the moon but SpaceX and Blue origins have a good chance of making it but not before Nasa
i think NASA will because they have already gone to teh mon so they have it pretty well figured out what they need to do to get there and back safe if they use the same design as the apollo 11.
the new rocket is more advanced the the apollo 11 rocket. Nasa will probably be the first to the moon becasue they have made it before but others like spacex and blue origins have a good chance of making it to the moon but maybe not before Nasa
i think it would pretty neat for a couple Americans to go back to teh moon and do some discoveries and maybe even make some history if they find some unknown stuff on the surface or somehting.
Descovering more on the moon can answer so questions on the earth and help with the history of the earth. And who know maybe there is alien's on mars and just building a base on the moon could help us reach mars.
I think it is cool because there are a lot of people that have dreamt of going to the moon someday ever since they were little kids. I think SpaceX will because recently it seem like whenever you hear something about space SpaceX is brought up with it.
Most people probably did not think the United States would go back to the moon, at least for a while, but are excited about this. I disagree, SpaceX has done a lot of good things related to space exploration, but NASA has been to the moon before.
I think that returning to the moon would help advance our knowledge of it and further our studies for the better. I think that if NASA really puts their minds to it they could be the first ones because they have been successful in the past.
