On November 15, a Walmart in the small town Derby, Vermont, got visited by an anonymous man. He entered the store and announced that he would pay for the tabs of all customers. At first nobody believed him but he proved that he was serious. A woman took a picture of him after he told her he would pay for her, waited until she got everything she needed from the store and actually payed her tab with his card. A few other people were asked about the man and a lot of them said he also paid for them. One couple reported that he even took over the costs for their $800 purchase that day. When someone asked who could affort doing something like that he just said "Santa can." and so the people called him their secret or mysterious Santa. Later he introduced himself to one of the customers who wanted to thank him as Kris Kringle. He left the people of the little town in awe and made the day of so many people better.

Question 1: How would you react if a complete stranger would come up to you and pay your tab at a store?
I think i would be kid of confused and speechless because things like that almost never happen. Sometimes friends or family pay for you or borrow you money but this man was stranger who didn't know the people so he did that just out of kindness and I think that deserves a lot of respect and everyone could be thankful.
Question 2: Would you do ever pay for the tabs of strangers?
I think I would do it if one person wouldn't have enough money and it wouldn't be a very big amount or maybe pay something for homeless people to help them but I think I would never pay prices like $800 because I'm not rich so I couldn't affort to do that.

Good topic choice and well done Natalie!
If some random person were to pay my tab I would feel a bit angry to be honest. I don't like it when people buy things or cover costs of something, I feel I can be self sufficiant. I don't think I would ever pay another person's tabs unless I had a lot of extra money or they need it badly.
I would think it's a joke at first but the I would be like what the heck! I would get lots of cool things and other things I need. I would be so thankful towrds that person and find out why and try to pay it foward! I def would if I was rich enough because right now I can barley pay for my own things!!
I think I would just take things I need to not seem as if i would use him just to pay for me but yes I think I also would be kind of excited to know that someone is paying for eerything I get in the store that day
If a stranger came up to me and paid my at a store, I would be very confused, but also extremely thankful for the act of kindness. I would want to repay the person somehow. If I could afford to pay people's tabs for them, I would probably help pay people who struggle with money, but probably not people who also have lots of money.
that is a really nice thought, maybe if something like that happened to me I would buy something that i could give to him afterwards to show how thankful I would be for that and I agree with you that I wouldnt pay for "rich" people either because they dont reallt need that
i would be like heck yea i would buy a bunch of thing that i need and then what i want and i think that he is a very nice and rich man to be able to do this if i had money yes i would but i dont have money so not right now
probably he really was rich so he could affort all of this but I think personally i wouldn't buy too much because I would feel bad and kind of as if I would just use him and his money to get stuff
I would pay for a stranger if they were in need of it. Like if an old lady can't afford to pay for all her groceries then I would step in and pay for her. Acts of kindness are often rare to find so people should treasure them.
yes that is a really kind act and it is good that there are still people who are willing to do soething good for others
