Mustang is New Again

Earlier this month at the Detroit Auto Show, Ford unveiled the new 2015 Mustang. A completely redesigned body, new powerplants available, and a luxurious interior all come together to form the new model.

The body has been smoothed down and has more curves and the interior is beautifully done in leather. Now standard is push button starting and touch screen navigation. Powerplants include: a 2.3 liter V6 EcoBoost, combining the best of fuel economy and power; a 3.7 liter V6 that still gets great mileage and puts power to the ground; and a large 5.0 liter V8 that is even more powerful than the current model, putting out over 420 hp and driving the Mustang to its listed top speed of 155 mph.

I have never been a fan of the Mustang, but this car is incredible. It looks great and has the power to go along with it. This is a car I could really see myself driving in the future.

Do you like the looks of the new 2015 Mustang or the current generation more and why do you feel that way?

  • Good job!!

  • I think car looks good still! It is a lot smaller than the mustangs now, but I think over the years the cars will get a lot smaller. Either generation looks good to me. If I had to chose the I would the ones we have now.

  • I think the Mustang needs to be OLD AGAIN, you can't beat the older style automobiles, they are just too great. I want to go back.

  • I think both are great looking cars. But maybe redesigning the vehicle will jump start sales again. People will probably like the look of the new models.

  • I definitely want to get this car, it looks amazing. It would be really hard to try and pay for it though.

  • I think 60's muscle cars had the best frames. I think most of these new ones are ugly

  • Oh goody another new fossil fueled car that will be a huge paperweight when all of the gas runs out. This is not innovation.

    • I guess that that is one way to look at it. But until then, its awesome!

  • It's a neat car in all, but I personally like the old mustang better. What an expensive car!

  • This is sweet but waaay expensive and i would never pay that much for a car that small.
