Robert Mueller is supposed to reveal all information in the last major court case in his longest running case. Mueller has already uncovered hidden Cypriot bank accounts, Ukranian political efforts in Europe and the US. Prosecutors are not leaving out any details for Manaforts sentencing which has been set for March 13th. They will most likely outline Manaforts criminal business schemes, attempts to reach out to key contacts after his arrest, and lying to prosecutors after agreeing to cooperate. Some information is said to be kept a secret like Manaforts interviews regarding Russian Influence in the 2016 presidential election. Manafort pleaded guilty to two charges in September those charges are: conspiracy against the US and conspiracy witness tampering. During his plea, he admitted to money laundering, foreign lobbying crimes that he committed while working for Ukranian politicians and other clients over several years. Manafort also ratted out Rick Gates as a co-conspirator and Konstan Kilimnik who is linked to Russian intelligence. Previously it is thought that Manafort should face up to 25 years or more in prison and pay tens of millions of dollars for tax and bank fraud. The next sentencing will also discuss the consequences that could be added. Manafort will be sentenced by federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson on March 13th. He has been jailed since June and will turn 70 years old in a month.
1) What do you think about Manaforts actions? What would be a fair sentence for his actions?
2) Do you believe Manafort could have been colluding with the Russians during the 2016 election through Konstantin Kilimnik?

Good topic choice! Be sure to capitalize key words in your title. Also be sure to inlcude personal thoughts within your summary and comment on three different days next time.
I think that he is wrong for lying and trying to make bank the wrong way. He should be given a sentence fair for him as he is relly old. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if he was responsible for some things that went down in the 2016 election.
I think that Manaforts action were illegal and wrong. For his action I think it would be fair if he spent 18 or more years in prison. I do not know if Manfort colluded with the Russians during the 2016, so I am not going to say anything about it.
His actions were obviously wrong and were very illegal. Given the circumstances he probably didn't have much of another chocie. I think that he is inoccent until proven guilty in the court of law.
I agree he is innocent until proven guilty. With the amount of evidence and his recent actions it is unlikely he will be proven guilty of all charges. He may be proven innocent on some charges though.
In my opinion his actions were wrong. He needs to be punished because what he did was illegal even though he might haven't had another choice. I don't know if he could have colluding with Russians and I don't want to say something wrong, but I belive he probably did.
I agree he should be punished, but he did have other choices. Simply saying he had no other choice doesn't explain his hidden Cypriot bank accounts, criminal business schemes, and connections to Kilimnik. Manafort and his lawyers also taunted Mueller and prosecutors, which may suggest he is guilty of most if not all the charges and Russian collusion
I believe that Manafort's actions were definitely wrong. They were definitely illegal, but given the circumstances, he doesn't have much of another choice being in the position he is in. I think that anything is possible when it comes to the collusion, but I doubt it. I think that trump and his former and current team have enough morals to not do this to our country.
I agree his actions were wrong but he could have made different choices. I disagree that Trump and his team have enough morals to not be colluding with Russia, especially after Cohen's testimony. Cohen said multiple times he would not accept a pardon so he has no reasons to lie.
Manafort's actions were definitely wrong, but sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do. They were definitely illegal, but given the circumstances, he doesn't have much of another choice. I think that anything is possible when it comes to collusion, but I really doubt it. I think that trump and his former and current team have enough morals to not do this to our country.
