Just today, both Lionsgate and Warner Bros. announced sequels to some of their most memorable or most profitable movies. From Lionsgate comes The Expendables 2, the sequel to last year's reunion of the classic beefy 80's action heroes (and sometimes villains). Sylvester Stallone is not directing this time, but he is returning as a star of the film, as is Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is set for release August 2012. Also, Warner Bros. annoucned that Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! is coming back. A long-awaited sequel has been cancelled, but a reboot (or redoing of the original) to the 1988 box office smash with Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder is on the way. Two screenwriters have been assigned, but no one is cast yet, but Michael Keaton returning as Beetlejuice is definately a possibility. Thoughts?
