Mount Rushmore is one of most recognized landmarks in the United States. It features the heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. But behind the heads is a wide opening or a cave that many people don't really know about. It is located directly behind Abraham Lincolns head. Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor, created a 18 foot door behind the landmark that leads to an open room that is 74 feet long and 35 feet high. He wanted this chamber to be where all of the most prized possessions of America to be held. It was supposed to be called The Hall of Records.
While the room does have many important documents like the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. It has been sealed off to the public and that means many conspiracy theories have come about on what is really behind the sealed door. Most conspiracy theories believe that there is evidence on many assassinations of presidents, with proof of extraterrestrial beings being out there, and what’s really inside area 51. Others believe that there are hidden treasures that no one knows about, this was talked about and explored in Nicholas Cages book National Treasure: Book of secrets.
I think that there might be evidence on aliens inside the chamber, but I don't think that they sealed it because they don't want us to know what is in it. I think they sealed it so no one could get in and steal or sell Americas most prized possessions.

What is the source that you used for this? I looked into this a bit and found that this has been open and people have seen inside of it. Also, the real Constitution and Declaration are not inside this chamber. Be sure to reply more frequently as well.
I think the chamber just has important papers, information, and artifacts. I highly doubt a lot of these conspiracies are true because they really wouldn't make sense. I think they sealed it off to better protect the things that are in there from humans and also from the harsh weather. The vault could also be empty but it really seems like it just has important artifacts.
There could be anything in that chamber its hard to know what exactly is all in there. I agree that they are keeping it locked for the saftey of what is in it and to prevent from people stealing stuff rather than keeping the chamber locked to hide everthing that is in there but who knows.
There could be many things inside of the chamber and its really hard to know for sure what is hidden in there. It could be importnat documents or cool things to find years from now. I think they sealed it because people will try to get in to see it and they do not want people to know what is in there yet.
I think there are very important documents and pictures that could explain to millions of people things they have seen and there could be ufo's in their. I think they have sealed it up beause they probably think that people will try to get inside of it and steal what might be inside of the chamber.
There could be a lot of things in that chamber or there could be nothing. I think that it would e interesting to open it and find out what is in it and I belive eventually it will be opened and people will be amazed. I think they sealed it, so then people could not get in it and it would be a mystory.
Truthfully, I don't think anything is inside the chamber. Let's say there is something there, millions of people filter through that area daily and workers are on the mountain doing normal upkeep, no way they'd keep anything semi-precious there due to the simple fact that it'd be too dangerous. Really cool topic though!
Although I agree with the fact that people flood in and out of Mount Rushmore, along with the guards doing normal upkeep. Its kind of hard to believe that the chamber, which was built to hold limportant documents, is empty. Especally when they went threw all of the work to seal it, it could have been to keep tourists and workers out but I doubt it.
I think there could be anything in those chambers. There could be historical documents, money, or even someones prized possessions. I don't think we will ever find out because they probably had a good reason to seal the chambers. I honestly do not have a clue to why they would seal the chambers. They could be hiding something or even protecting something. Overall, I think we may never know.
I agree with that because the chamber was built to sustain important documents, prized possesions, and even historical items. But it is weird that they sealed it with those possible important or historic items still inside the chamber. I agree, I don't think that the chamber will ever be opened again.
