More than a dozen dead!

A deadly storm that caused flooding and coated parts of the southern Plains, during the thanksgiving holiday weekend. The band of storms had been moving through parts of plains and Midwest Since Thursday there was 14 deaths and including 8 in Texas and 6 in Kansas.

Also a 70 year old woman was swept away in her car and they are still on the hunt for her and with the rushing waters it makes it hard. Along with this they are going to have to start rescuing families in there houses.

What would you do if you where in this situation??

Would you go down and help them??

  • Stay with my family and prepare for the worst.

If I saw someone near me that need help then yes I would do the best I can to help but other wise im going to stay with my family.

  • I would probably be very scared and worried about all of my family and friends. However, I would try to make the best of the situation and try to keep hope. I think I might try to help others. More deaths isn't going to solve anything, and I would feel bad if I didn't do anything to help at all.

  • I would get a surf board and start surfing

  • I would be freaking out, probably trying to get out of the vehicle since I know I can swim well. I would do what I could to help, but I don't know how much help I would be.

  • I wouldn't know what to do because I've never experienced a situation like that. Probably go to the highest ground level possible to avoid the flood. I wouldn't know how to rescue them so I would leave that to the fire department and police.
