Last year scientist found frozen water on the lunar surface and now they think that the ice could be old as the moon is. The scientist contained that the old craters [greater than 3.1 billion years] was cold-trapping area on the pole exists. The age of the ice could be implications traveling in space. NASA return in space in 2024 and the explore of deep space. Read the whole story here.
How long do you think the ice on the moon is?
I think the ice be near the same age as the moon
If there is ice on the moon why don't astronaut slide?
Because the astronaut are always hoping

Glad you got this done Garet! Overall, your summary is brief and your questions could be better. You also should reply more frequently next time. -5 late
I think the ice is some what near the same age as the moon. I dont think they would slide cause theres no gravtiy on the moon, and there only taking 1 step like every 2 yards.
I agree that the ice they found could be as old as the moon like the scientists are thinking, which I think is really cool since it's billion of years old. I think that the astronauts that have been there weren't sliding because the ice deposits aren't all over the surface of the moon, I think mostly within the older craters, and they hop because there is less gravity.
I think that the ice has been on the moon almost the whole time the moon has existed, because The ice would not have anywhere else to go so it would just stay on the moon the whole time. Also I am not sure why astronauts would not slide on the moon, you might be right with they are always hopping.
I agree, the moon might be so cold that it instantly froze the water on it and now its just ice. I think the astronauts don't slide because of the gravity. They are lighter on the moon so they aren't getting pulled down. Also, you can really run and slide. Unless they were on a hill and like slide down it.
I think it has been there ever sence the moon has been. There is no gravite so i think its more like a hover.
I agree, I feel like your hovering and who knows maybe some parts of the moon dont have ice and thats the only place we travels.
I agree it proeblly developed when the moon did true no gravity does make a big difference
I think that the ice could be composed of many different ages considering the ice is brought there by meteors and other terrestrial objects. The oldest ice is most likely a few billion years considering the moon is thought to be around that age. Also gravity and friction function differently on different space objects of different sizes
I think the ice could be the same age or maybe younger as the moon and I think it is really interesting for NASA and other people too when the water returns in 2024. I think the astronauts don't slide because of the lack of gravity. The astronauts float more on the top of the moon.
