Mom Banned for Standing Up to Bullies

A mom was banned from her son's school after confronting 2 boys about bullying him. Also she is banned from his bus stop. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The mom was trying to protect her child. It would be like the principal going up to a student and confronting a person. What's the difference? She confronted the driver and told him to talk action, and he pretty much told her to buzz off. So what? Now your parents can't help you? I thought you were supposed to tell someone about if you're being bullied. Do they just want the parent/gaurdian to sit there and do NOTHING?! The kid was 10!! He told someone he trusted and they helped him. But it led to them getting in trouble. It isn't right. She was trying to help her kid out and even though it lead to a punishment, she said she doesn't regret it. What are your thoughts? Would you let someone bully your kid and not do anything about it?

That's kind of ridiculous. THe mother was only trying to stop some bullies from bullying her son. They're pretty much promoting bullying and saying it's okay for banning that kid's mother from trying to protect her son.

that is ultimately and completely wrong!!!! aren't parents supposed to support their child and not just let it happen? how could people be so stupid sometimes......

um that is REALLY stupid. what the heck is up with people these days?! i mean seriously... this mother was doing what was right for her child...

I don't think that this is right at all. Like seriously? She was trying to help her child out. If the kids were bullying and it was hurting her child that is the only reason why she did that. What happens if it was the pricipals kid that was getting bulled? im sure that he would have confronted them.. and he wouldnt get banned.. thats just not right in my opinion.

bullying sucks. my mom would never do anything like that for me. party of it would have to do with her being a teacher. so maybe it would be a good thing that she wouldn't do anything.

That's pathetic. That's basically contridicting the idea that if you are being bullied, tell an adult. I mean, seriously. If I were that mother I'd have done more then confront the bus driver and the two boys. I'd have called their parents, or the superintendent of the dang school! That's just stupid! Saying a mother can't protect her child from stupid little school bullies.
