fter a couple weeks of investigations, the MLB decided on the penalties on the Houston Astros organization that used stadium cameras to steal signs in their run to the World Series in 2017. The league commissioner, Rob Manfred, and his team penalized the Astros by a one year suspension of General Manager Jeff Lunhow, and Manager A.J. Hinch, 5 million-dollar fine, and a loss of both first and second round draft picks for the next two years. Shortly after the penalties were announced, the owner of the Astros announced the firings of both Jeff Lunhow and A.J. Hinch. Which later lead onto firings of Red Sox Manager Alex Coras who is the bench coach for Astros in 2017. Also, the firing of Mets Manager Carlos Beltran, who is a player on the club that year. This past week there have also been rumors that players used buzzers underneath there uniforms that also was part of the sign stealing. Too less,I believe the Astros should be stripped of the World Series title, and be banned from the Postseason for the next few years, because it should have not happened, and took dreams away of winning the World Series from their opponents.

Yes, I think if players did not speak out about this, and kept it a secret from the league, they should be suspended or fined, atleast. Cheating should be taken lightly for penalties.

I think the amount that was taken was enough, but I do consider this rather scandalous. I think only the players who knew about it should be, especially considering if it was obvious and easily noticeable but people just kept quiet.
Yes that is a good point that the players that were involved in should be punished. Because it ruins the league and does not make that fun. They should just play the game and have fun that is point of the sport. No reason to cheat and keep queit about it.
