This is a very fascinating video and article. I can't believe they have not marked this as a hate crime. I can't imagine how people can be so cruel.

Do you think this was a hate crime, or just a homicide?

  • Its a hate crime and a homicide this guy should  be punished severally. But not with death of his own.

  • That was deffinately a hate crime. How can people act like this in this day and age? That is rediculous how people act that way.

  • this isn't right people shouldn't do that to each other!

  • I personally think that this is a hate crime without a doubt after reading the article. This man should be charged with a hate crime! It just really gets to me how people can hate someone so much just for having a different skin color that they would take their life, just doesnt make sense

  • MAKE LOVE NOT WAR! violence is not the answer! holy moly! that is just an awful thing to do! i can not believe this! he could have settled this some other way! not good!!

  • I personally would agree that this is a hate crime its just wrong black people are just the same as us there still people and i dont see how someone could do that!

  • It's got to be hate. Jealousy can be such a terrible influence on people and make good people do bad things. To take someones life out of hate/ jealousy is one of the worst ways, in my mind, to do something. They say violence isn't the answer, killing is NEVER ever ever ever the answer.

  • The way the article makes this sound is it sounds like a hate crime. Nobody knows the honest truth but the way the article describes it is a hate crime. Nasty things go through peoples minds and there is no excuse for killing someone out of anger. People need to learn to control their hate.

  • There are so many racial issues in our world today. We stereotype people a lot, and it is cruel. I would say that this is a hate crime. If someone said he was black, then they definitely ran over him because of his race. There has always been trouble with blacks and whites, but especially in the South back in the Civil War days when the Whites thought they were superior. It's sad to think of what people do to others just because of race, religion, gender etc.

  • This is ridiculous. Why someone would run over another for a hate crime would be a motive so it could also be a homicide. I personally think it's both.
