Check out pictures, dates and case details from real child abductions over the years. Charles Lindbergh Jr. and Calvin Klein's daughter, among others, made the list.

    It would stink as a parent not knowing whether your child is dead or alive...It would a very tough time for the parents and other family members and friends also.

    that's so sad :/ people who do those sorts of things to children should be locked up for a very long time.

    I hate seeing missing children signs in stores and all over the news.. makes me so sad. I wonder how slim the ratio is of those who get found and saved to those who never turn up. I just don't understand why people would abduct children anyways.. do they not know about adoption or something?

    It's sad that there are so many people that this happens to. I think we should  not have to go to school because a lot of kidnappings happened due to school.

    i always hope that these kids are able to come home.. or at least families get answers as to what happened to their children.
    but it hardly ever happens.. :(

    I always see these ads in walmart, its so sad to see all of those posts of children!

    These stories are super sad. I cant believe anyone would want to abduct someone elses child thats not right at all. i have heard alot of the Duhgard girl but i am unfamiliar with all the others. But not only that these are horrible stories very sad and horribly for the families they have to suffer not know where there kids are or if they are even alive. ):

    These are really sad. There are some really sick people out their. I can't ever imagine what their parents felt like when they went through this. I hope I never have to go through that.
