There are multiple protests going on in Mexico this year. The biggest one is the protests against the government's inaction of the kidnapping and murder of 43 college students. Another is the protest against Mexico's importing policies.
Mexican demonstrators, protesting the government's policy's of import of used cars from the US, blocked traffic near four entry points to the US. The bridge between Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico will remain closed Monday night. Trafic at the Otay Mesa entry near San Diego has began clearing. Entry from cargo lanes between Calexico and Mexicali have also remained closed.
US citizens have been warned by the State Department to be ready to be delayed and have problem crossing at the Mexican-American border.
Forty-three college students went missing, suspected kidnapping, on September 26th, after they were fired upon by police when they were leaving a school outing in buses. One of their remains has now been found. The remains were identified through DNA testing as belonging to Alexander Mora, 19. The human remains were badly charred and found in a landfill site.

Protests nationwide in Mexico, as well as other countries, have been calling for justice and action for the forty-three students. Thousands, headed by the parents of the missing, gathered and marched in Mexico City. The main spokesperson for the parents, Felipe de la Cruz, said, "If the government thinks we are going to retreat and cry, it is mistaken." The protests have ranged from peaceful marches to attacks on government buildings and clashes with the riot police. Not only are the protesters demanding the government search for the students more, they also center on political corruption.
I think the protests going on all over the world are an international example of people banding together and getting over their differences to fight for a better, just cause. The first protest I talked about, being about importing policy in Mexico, the protesters might be going a little overboard, but the second protest I fully support.
Is there anything you'd be willing to fight and/or die for? What and why? What is your opinion of the protesters and/or the cause they are fighting against?

I would protest, yes. However keep it under control and not go to extremes
I would fight for this but I wouldn't go overboard with it. But if I feel so strongly about something, then I would
This is horrible that this is happening and I think that I would be willing to fight for it not die for it though. I would fight against it because this is horrible that this is happening especially when it's your own government that is doing this.
I would fight for my family anytime. Just like they would protect me in any situation.

I think that I would fight for my family. I think that the families of the people who are missing have a right to be mad and protest and fight.
I agree with a lot of what people have already said which is that I would fight if it was for people that I cared about.
