A lot of people think that the minimum wage is so low that people can’t make a living off, and people can’t pay their bills. There are many pros and cons to raising the minimum wage. I feel that if we raise the minimum wage to the right amount a lot of people will be happy and satisfied with it.
What are the pros and cons? The pros of raising it are that it will reduce the amount of poverty since the people in poverty don’t have enough money to support themselves. Another big pro is that with this day and age inflation is going up, and it’s not going back down. With us raising the minimum wage it will then keep up with inflation. Some cons would be that small businesses may not be able to pay the employees the set amount, and may have to lay off their employees. Another con might be that the price of goods may go up, so these businesses can support their employees.
I believe the minimum wage should be raised from 7.25 to around 10 dollars. I feel this way because in this day and age it is hard to afford anything if you only get paid $7.25. Therefore I feel it should be raised a few dollars, so people can afford things for themselves.

I think that if the minimum wage was raised, it should be done only a couple dollars at a time before getting it to the desired amount. Because of inflation, workers should be getting paid more because prices of things that they need everyday are raising as well. I think it should be raised to $10 for now so that people can afford things more easily.
I agree with you because if you raise it too much it could be bad. Where $10 is a good amount.
if the minnimum wage was increased it would just increase the price of everything else then people will just want the minnimum wage icreased again. i think the minnimum wage should stay where it is.

minimum wages in my eyes shoudnt be raised at all.If minimum wages stay where they are at the workers should be encouraged to stay and work for a raise.But minimum wages differ everywhere as for harlan it fits the lifestyle and all the prices reasonably but as for the bigger cities minumum wages should be raised a few dollars so they can be a little better well off.
I do not think that minimum wage should be raised as it may be nice to see a higher number on your paycheck in reality everything else would just raise as well. Because say everyone who pays minimum wage raises it then this will cause them to raise the price of whatever they are selling or making so overall it wouldn't do much.
I think that it would be good to raise minimum wage to keep people from living paycheck to paycheck, but raising minimum wage would also harm employers. There wouldn't really be a point to raising the minimum wage if nobody wants to work.

Yes because some people get paid more than others and some people don't wanna return to work because of covid. I think that they should raise it to 11 dollars and hour because I have friends who make 10 an hour and I know people who make 15 and hour so I think that everyone should be paid the same because eveyone works hard.
I dont think the wage should be raised because it wouldnt do anything for anybody as everybody would just raise their prices on everything because everybody who has a job will be making more money, there will also be less workers because the owner will be giving too much money to everybody already working for them.
