A lot of people think that the minimum wage is so low that people can’t make a living off, and people can’t pay their bills. There are many pros and cons to raising the minimum wage. I feel that if we raise the minimum wage to the right amount a lot of people will be happy and satisfied with it.
What are the pros and cons? The pros of raising it are that it will reduce the amount of poverty since the people in poverty don’t have enough money to support themselves. Another big pro is that with this day and age inflation is going up, and it’s not going back down. With us raising the minimum wage it will then keep up with inflation. Some cons would be that small businesses may not be able to pay the employees the set amount, and may have to lay off their employees. Another con might be that the price of goods may go up, so these businesses can support their employees.
I believe the minimum wage should be raised from 7.25 to around 10 dollars. I feel this way because in this day and age it is hard to afford anything if you only get paid $7.25. Therefore I feel it should be raised a few dollars, so people can afford things for themselves.

I believe that the minimum wage should be raised slightly I believe that raising the minimum wage would help benefit many people who have jobs and are working weekly

I think the minimum wage should be raised because there a lot of people that have no choice but to work a minimum wage job and live off of it/support their families, and the wage it is at right now just simply isn't enough for anyone to live even remotely comfortably on.
I think the minimum wage should be raised by a little bit. In Germany for example is the minimum wage by 9,50 and it did not cause a high inflation. Of course the raise should happen over months so inflation is not too high. I think 9 dollar would be a good minimum wage.

I agree with you. Most people really can't afford to live by getting paid only $7.25 an hour, some can but even then most products we want or need cost way more than the average. I believe that the minumum wage should be raised to 10 or 11 dollars. This will help people afford what they need and to pay their bills without struggling and wondering if they'll have money for food.

I think that if minimum wage goes up, then everything else is gonna go up. If everything else goes up, then what was the point of raising the minimum wage. It might help people in poverty for the first couple months, then everything will slowly go up and they will be right where they used to be.
I don't think minimum wage should be increased. Minimum wage jobs are not meant for a person to survive off of. They are meant for highschoolers and people jsut wanting extra cash. Raising minimum wage would cause the price of everything to inflate.
Everything is already inflating and we need to raise the minimum wage, therefore, to keep up with inflation or we won't be able to afford anything.
