Every once and a while I think of the future and what it will hold. I never thought that it would come so soon.
Researchers at the University of Washington have manifested what they say is the fist example of noninvasive human-to-human brain interface (video posted here; http://www.washington.edu/news/2013/08/27/researcher-controls-colleagues-motions-in-1st-human-brain-to-brain-interface/). The video depicts how a scientist can control another scientist's hand motions by using brain signals emitted through the internet.
The participants in the demonstration were the scientists that proposed the experiment, Rajesh Rao and Andrea Stocco. They were placed on different sides of the campus when Stocco's finger moved on a keyboard, which was controlled by Rao's Brain signal.
"So far, we are the only human beings whose brains are being connected," said Stocco, a research assistant professor at the university's Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences.
They have now done several trials of the brain communication in their unpublished pilot study and they hope to expand it.

Good story and great job replying to comments! Be sure to pose a question to the audience though.
That is really interesting. Maybe they will make the devices smaller somehow and make people walk around and do things to there own ability... i want one.
I think that this is really cool. What a neat idea. Just makes me think of what will be coming next in our future!
Me too! I wonder what will be next.
Me too! I thought that if it would happen it would at least it would be in like 30 years.
WOW! this is so cool. I never thought we would get this kind of technology. It seems like it would be hard, and very confusing. It is very interesting
While this is really cool, and I am amazed at how far science has come; it also worries me a little bit. I just hope that as mind control is further developed it doesn't become abused or used for the wrong things.
I agree. When they are able to further the development of the mind control, I hope that it doesn't get used for the wrong reasons, but it probably will.
This could be used for learning. If you need help from a teacher you both put your caps on and the teacher can take control of you and help you with whatever you need help with. I would like to try something like this out because it has never been done before.
Yeah! That would be very cool!
