There are storms in the Midwest that are producing tornadoes and weather capable of producing tornadoes. One fast moving tornado has already touched down near Washington, IL and there may be more in store for the rest of the mid west. The states in watch are parts of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin. This storm has delayed the first quarter of the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens game. For those of you who do not know what a tornado watch really is, it means that "that weather conditions exist that can produce tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. Conditions are favorable for long-tracked, significant tornadoes across this watch area", the Storm Prediction Center said. The Weather Center sent out a tweet recently that stated, "The worst decision you could make today is to ignore a severe/tornado warning. These storms will be nasty." This storm watch was mainly intended for today (Sunday the 17th) but could be in affect for longer. Do you guys think that this storm might come close to Harlan or Shelby County? If it did what do you think the reaction of the rest of the U.S might be?
