San Diego’s ritzy Hotel del Coronado will now offer Mermaid Fitness.Hotel fitness instructor Veronica Rohan came up with the practice when she noticed that guests were bringing in their own mermaid tails, quite pricey with a range of $120-150. The classes are designed to be at least 45 minutes. Only adults 18 years or older can sign up for the class. The classes take place in the shallow end of the pool only for safety measures. It may take the people time to adjust to the weight of the tail. The hotel will offer them at a cost of $10-20,or free with the purchase of a tail. The classes will start in the summer and take place every friday.
1. Do you think kids should be allowed to join? If so why?
I think kids should have separate swimming classes but still learn the same things
2. Do you think the hotel will make much profit? Explain why .
I think they will make a little more money than before because not only do the lessons cost money but they will draw attention to the hotel and attract more visitors.
3. How would you feel about attending one of these classes? Do you think it would be a waste of money?
I feel like it would be a fun class and a great opportunity to meet new people with the same interests and not a waste of money because I love to swim and this is a form of swimming.

Good summary! You started replying early in the week very well but then stopped. Keep going!
I think kids should be allowed to partake in the class but at a separate times. I think this would really motivate kids to get out and have some fun. Yes, I do think the hotel will make a profit. Word will get around, and new people will start coming. I feel like this will be something different that a lot of people will enjoy.
Some of the kids should be able too but they should have to go through some training first to see if they can handle it. The hotel might make some money on it for the people who would really want to do it.
I think that kids should be able to do this or a similar easier class. I think the hotel will make a good profit from this because it is something new that nobody else does. I think that it would be a fun class to try, and I don't think it would be a huge waste because it's not something you do everyday.
I believe that kids need their own swimming lessons the same way they are currently constructed. This could help with imaginations and such but you don't want a fantasy obsessed child.. They will be 18 eventually. I don't think there will be much profit from this due to the expensive tail requirements and overall not much interest in the idea I think. And I for one would not attend one of these classes because it is a waste of time. On a regular basis you would not go out swimming with a tail!
I think that they should be able to take part in this if they know how to swim. They would also have to make the exercises easier for kids depending on the age and level of swimming ability. I think that they will get more profit the more that they get their name out there. It is a very interesting concept that I can see a lot of millennials and younger adults doing. I think that it is an interesting idea and I know that swimming can burn a lot of calories so it would be a good workout. I would be worth it to at least try it.

Yes, I think little kids would love this. I dont really think so, because of little kids not being able too. Most people staying there are on business or work like related and they dont have the time nor what to do it. Its not for me I dont think i would like it i think it would be a waste of money
1. I don't believe kids should be able to take this class because of the risk involved in the mermaid tale, its much harder to stand if both your feet are in the same place.
2. I'm not sure if the hotel will make much profit, it depends on how many guests they get and what kind of guests. tourists are more likely to do the class just because its something new and they are trying to get new experiences while a person just on a get away probably wouldn't take the class because its not as inciting.
3. i think it is a large waste of time and money i don't want to swim as if i was a mermaid nor have i ever wanted to.
I think kids should be allowed to join, in order for them to live out their mermaid fantasy. I think the hotel will make some profit from this, due to the cost of the lessons, and they would attract more visitors. 120-150 dollars is a lot of money, so i wouldn't spend it on a exercise class, I would spend 120-150 dollars on something more worthwhile.
