Just yesterday health care workers were the official first Americans to get the new Covid 19 vaccine. Health care workers were the first ones to get the vaccine because they are at the front lines of the pandemic. The next people to get the vaccines are police officers and essential workers. In a few months teachers, K-12, and other child care workers will be next to get the vaccine. Until children can get the vaccine they will have to wait until spring or summer.
There are lots of positives to having the vaccine out this early. One positive is that now there will be a less amount of deaths because they got the vaccine. Another one is that we will become a normal society again and soon have no more masks and no more social distancing. There has been lots of testing for the vaccine to work and it's finally perfected. It's a good feeling to know that we will be finally over with this pandemic its done terrible things like killing people and canceling things people have been wanting to do for a long time.
Yesterday the first person in new york and Michael Dowing the Ceo of northwell heath said it worked perfectly. When you get your first shot, you will have to get another one in 21 days. So soon there will be no more Covid we will finally get on with our lives again and we can get things rolling again.
Would you get the vaccine or would you not get it?
How do you feel about getting another shot after 21 days?

I don't know if i would get the vaccine right now but i would definetly consider it in the future due to the people that might be affected by the virus. I don't think it would be that bad to get two shots especially if the vaccine works.
I don't know if i would get the vaccine. Right now probably not just because I don't get the flu shot and I haven't gotten the flu for many years. I think if covid like the flu so I probably wouldn't get it. I don't mind shots but I don't like them so I would hate to get another shot 21 days after getting one.
I really don't mind having to get two shots instead of one. I say this because there are multiple vaccines that you have to take over multiple doses such as the DTap (diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis) shot, or the MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) shot.
I would get the vaccine but be very nervous about the side effects, recently a person who got the first shot had an almost immidiate allergic reaction to it. Luckly the person stopped having a reaction after getting hit with an epiPen.
I would get the vaccine because I wouldn't want to put my family and friends at risk of getting covid from me. I think that it is not that bad having to get a second shot after 21 days it is a quite common practice with long-lasting vaccines and it will only make it better and more effective in the long run.
I think that I would probably get the vaccine, so that I could ensure that I don't get covid 19 and don't get sick. They have done so much testing and have said that it is safe so I would take it. I think its good to get a second shot to ensure that it works.
I would proably get the shot once I were to see enough evidence to prove that it really works, however I wouldn't get it untill all the essential workers and people got it. I would not like to have to go back after 21 days of gitting the first shot just to get the second shot. However It wouldn't be that bad if the vaccine actually worked.
This vaccine is actually very interesting. Unlike most vaccines where they inject you with the dead pieces of the virus, they inject you with mRNA from the virus. Your cells are very dumb which means that they don't know whether that mRNA is from you or from another thing. They just know that they have mRNA and they have to make a protein. And when they turn this mRNA into protein it is actually the spike protein of the virus itself. This protein starts making more proteins like themselves and then the immune cells show up and make antibodies that shut those proteins down. Which means that your body created coronavirus antibodies. I think this vaccine is super interesting and I would definetely get it, and I don't mind getting another one after 21 days.
I would most definetly get the vaccine to ensure myself and make sure I can stay healthy and away from the virus. Getting two shots I feel is a good thing because it just backups the first shot and ensures your getting the medicine incase the first shot dosen't work. But there could be some side affects because it's such a new shot but the risk is low and reward is high.
I totally agree with you I would also get the vaccine to ensure that I won't get the virus. Many people think the vaccine is dangerous but they have done many test and research to make sure it is safe and will work to keep you healthy. I also would get the second shot to ensure the chances of getting the virus will lower.
