Jim Mattis is wanting to "back up" U.S. forces along the border between us and Mexico. He is wanting to do this to stop the illegal immagrants saying that they are going to come over illegally. Mattis is very hesistant in doing this because he doesn't want another Mexican Revolutionary War to start. His short-term objective is too lay wiring down and building barriers. His long-term goal is still yet to be determined. He also wants this to be a "training" for the soldiers. The Department of Justice said, "It's obviously a moral and ethical mission to support our border patrolmen."

Maybe because it maight make more peace with Mexico but it could also make them think it is a good chance to attack us

Yes it might cause them to attack us but there is a higher possiblity that it would bring peace between the U.S. and Mexico. I believe it would decrease the fighting because they are now able to come over freely without getting in trouble.
Yes I think they should because we need to control them and not let them be harful. I would try and make myself wealthy in mexico and just live anormal life there and not go anywhere else.

I don't think they should back up all of their troops, but they most definately should move some of them because this could really help us out when it comes to being allies with Mexico.

If I lived in Mexico, I think I would want this to happen for different saftey reasons. I would want to feel safe where I lived and this could potentially help.
