Though DC Comics was founded before Marvel in 1934, Marvel pioneered and almost perfected the art of interconnecting the many marvelous stories through one connected universe. Marvel is clearly better with how it handles characters and how they interact with each other. This mastery of world building even continues to this day with the Marvel CInematic Universe, which has made DC films look and feel like complete garbage.
Take the Avengers and the Justice League. While the Justice league feels like a bunch of people with powers doing their own thing, the Avengers feel like a teem working in tandem with each other. Even in the films the avengers had so much build up over the many movies while the justice league just happened. Nobody really cares about it.
Another parallel I believe Marvel does better with is the rich dude with cool gadgets. While Batman can be cool at times, his edge is put off by the fact that he’s just a ripped ninja and nothing more, Iron Man is open about this identity as Tony. This is good because alter egos are stupid and I dont like them.
Of course the movies Must be brought up. MArvel movies are better. I rest my case.
DC does have one thing over Marvel though. The characters are more fun. The condiment king just sprays ketchup, mustard and relish at people who are allergic, straight up killing them.

I really dig what you and Angie did. It's never been done before. Very clever idea! I do think your summary could be a bit longer. The big issue is that you didn't reply to any student comments which is worth 30 points.
I have never really watched any of their moveis so I can not really say wich one is better but i definetly think that they are both good movie producers. I also think that just because one is bigger than the other that does not neccisarily mean that it is better than the other.
Personally I think that Marvel is definetly the better franchise overall I enjoy Marvel movies much more. I think not many believe that Marvel is worse but I can definetly see why people would think that DC is up there with the difference in characters it is very hard to choose.
I think marvel is a better franchise. They have made better movies and shows. These rivals have been going on forever but I enjoy marvel movies a lot more than DC. They also connect with people more in marvel and work together. But it would be cool if marvel were to buy some of the DC characters. I think if they were to join as one big group they would get so much more people wanting to watch it.
I think Marvel is the better franchise as they've made better movies, shows, and better advertisements. DC is straight trash and hasn't had a good movie in over a year. I think marvel should buy DC so they can take control of superman, batman, flash, and Aquaman.
Ok, here is my take. D.C. and Marvel are always pitted against each other, and despite fans trying to quell the dispute, people just want to continue putting them at odds. Firstly, it's obvious who is King of the superhero cinematic universe -- Marvel. From the list of top ten highest grossing films of all time, Marvel are able to put 3 sepereate films up there, which is an incredible feat. Marvel's cinematography and list of incredible actors also adds to their appeal and dominance of the superhero industry. Not to mention, scriptwriters are typically very authentic to the original comic material (save for Thor: Dark World -- but that film is horrible anyways). On the other hand...D.C. lacks in the film department. Their movies are rushed to hit the box office, to garner the most views and money -- but even Marvel still beats them at that. D.C.'s lack of quality cinematography is what makes watchers hate it so much. Their CGI is also very cheesy and subpar. This phenomenon makes even less sense when you look at the budget of two movies released around the same time. D.C.'s Aquaman cost a whopping 1.138 billion dollars, whereas Marvel's Gaurdians of the Galaxy cost 777 million dollars. Aquaman recieved 65% Rotten Tomatoes, whereas Gaurdians of the Galaxy recieved 92% Rotten Tomatoes, despite have a lesser budget. All in all, Marvel is obviously the better movie conglomerate -- but if D.C. decides to stop making horrible films, then they could possibly stand a chance against Marvel's superhero monopoly.
I don't think that Marvel is any better then dc because it is more succesful than the other. They are both very good franchises and one is not better than the other. I don't watch either one so I don't really have a preference on which on either.
In my opinion just because someone is successful doesn't mean they're good. I personally don't have a preference for DC or Marvel, I watch both. They're both amazing studios that produce amazing entertainment. I know a lot of people prefer Marvel over DC but I don't have a personal preference.
n my opinion they are one of the biggest competitions in the whole world but i don't think any of them is better than the other because it is an undeniable fact that they copy each others. They are constantly trying to get one more step ahead and prove they are better but i'd say it is hard to notice the difference.
Personally, I prefer Marvel over DC. I think that the character building and team dynamics that Marvel has created over the span of several movies and shows is incredible, and I am excited to see what they have in store in the future. In DC movies and shows, I am just simply not interested in how they connect their plot lines and characters.
